Boxing training. As it's meant to be.

The Sydney Uni Boxing Club is open to men and women of all ages: Sydney Uni students as well as members of the community.

Whether you want to train to fight, or just train to be fit. It's no-nonsense, hard training in up to four sessions a week. We cover boxing skills and drills, sparring, cardio and core strength exercises.

be prepared

Standard equipment for training

For your comfort and safety, as well as that of your Club mates, please bring to training:

  • Your own hand wraps;

  • 16oz boxing gloves;

  • a well-fitted mouth guard (this is not negotiable);

  • a towel

  • a drink bottle;

  • Wear clean, breathable training clothing and practice good hygiene.

Sparring

Sparring in the gym is only permitted under supervision of a coach. If you are invited to spar you will need 16oz gloves, headgear & mouthguard.

Sparring without supervision will result in immediate suspension and a review of your membership.

No sparring while COVID-Safe protocols are in place.
